About Bhumika Women’s Collective

Bhumika Women’s Collective is a registered non-profit organization (Reg. No. 78/95) established in 1995. We work across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to combat Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and empower adolescents through awareness, advocacy, and community-based interventions.

With a strong commitment to inclusivity, Bhumika has expanded its services to support transgender communities by setting up dedicated helpdesks. These helpdesks respond to the unique challenges faced by transgender individuals, particularly in the context of gender-based violence.

At Bhumika, we believe that creating a safe, just, and equitable society requires recognizing and addressing the diverse realities of women, girls, and gender-diverse people. Our work is rooted in rights-based, survivor-centered, and community-driven approaches.
