Bhumika Women’s Collective actively engages in platforms that promote gender equity, workplace safety, and social justice. Our participation in key statutory and advisory bodies strengthens our advocacy and enables us to voice out critical issues at multiple levels:

• Member, Internal Complaints Committees (ICC) under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 in several prestigious institutions, including:
  • High Court for the State of Telangana
  • National Police Academy
  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
  • Office of the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh
  • South Central Railways
  • Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti
  • Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)
  • State Bank of India (Andhra Pradesh Circle), among others
• Member, Local Complaints Committee (LCC) – Rangareddy District, Telangana
  Supporting redressal mechanisms at the district level for workplaces lacking ICCs.
• Member, District Advisory Committee under the PCPNDT Act, Hyderabad
  Contributing to the monitoring and implementation of the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act to prevent sex-selective practices.
• Member, Senior Citizens Welfare Committee – Department of Women and Child Development (DWCD), Rangareddy District, Telangana
  Advocating for the welfare and rights of senior citizens through district-level planning and support structures.
