During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, Bhumika swiftly responded to the urgent needs of vulnerable communities across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, extending critical support to:

  • Health Workers / PHCs
  • Elected Representatives (Panchayats)

Key Interventions

  • Conducted awareness campaigns to educate communities about safety protocols and preventive measures.
  • Distributed face masks, sanitizers, and sanitary pads to promote hygiene and menstrual health.
  • Provided food and dry ration kits to families facing economic distress.
  • Supplied medicines to those who were ill and arranged transportation to access essential health services.
  • Hired and arranged buses for stranded migrant workers, facilitating their return to home states like Uttarakhand and reuniting them with their families.
  • Delivered essential health equipment such as oximeters, oxygen concentrators, and hand mics to Gram Panchayats to support local health infrastructure and community outreach.


Through these collective efforts, over 30,000 individuals were reached, supported, and cared for—ensuring that no one was left behind during one of the most challenging periods in recent history.
